Just when we thought it was getting better... Bobbi Kristina ends up in leaked pictures snorting cocaine, what a suprise coming from the family she had to grow up in, but it's still sad to hear. Allegedly she says "It's not what it looks like...", despite the fact that, that is exactly what it looks like. The pictures show Bobbi Kristina with a a small straw-like object held up to her nose, holding it up to a white substance on a tray, looking very similar to cocaine. With their continued drug use over years, I question Whitney and Bobby on the ethics they taught their children. Before they knew about the drug use, they should have been taking actions to make sure their daughter was specifically sheltered to drugs. And with a singing career starting off, this is not the best publicity for Bobby Kristina. The world we live in is full of it...
The artist 'Da Brat' is back on the streets today. 'Da Brat' was imprisoned 3 years ago for hitting a waitress in club Studio 72 (Atlanta) upside the head with a bottle. After spending time in a Georgia state prison I'm sure shes ecstatic to be out. I guess if you don't have the money, you shouldn't commit the crime. It kind of sucks to be an out of work rapper though. No big headlines for her or even an event at one of Atlanta's many clubs to welcome her back. Hopefully Jermaine Dupri is looking out for her but I seriously doubt it. I know if he was just getting out, the news would've been around before he even left the jail cell. And he didn't really look out for her before she went in anyway. The world we live in is full of it...

While we all know that most of the men in entertainment are gay I’m still wondering about Omarion. When he was seen more frequently with Bow Wow it got people speaking on if they were ‘doin the booty’. There are quite a lot of facts though that can support this claim of a relationship between the young fruities.
If you didn’t know, Bow Wow just left the Atlanta based producer Jermaine Dupri. It is speculated that they went separate ways because Dupri did not agree with his relationship with Omarion. During producing with Omarion and Bow Wow, many in the Dupri camp noticed that there seemed to be a relationship or closeness going on between the two while recording. If this wasn’t enough, Omarion told BET during an interview that he likes to wear tight jeans to quote ‘show off his figure’. Wtf?? Who says that in an interview and is surprised when they are seen as gay to the public. Bow Wow later recorded a song with a line stating ‘your jeans as tight as O’. Number one, why is he even noticing how tight Omarions jeans are?! And number two, why would that come up in your rap lyrics?
While Omarion did get married, this appears to be a front as well. Omarion’s wife is a former stripper from Magic City and also is openly bisexual. He married and released a sex tape soon after the rumors of him and Bow Wow started. Seems to me that would be a great way to try to stop rumors and also be able to continue his gay relationship. "Queen Bee" unleashed a tidal wave of insults at her rival calling her a "Little Kim Clone" and adding "It'll be a murder scene, I'm turning Pink Friday to 'Friday the 13th.' "
Not one to back down, Lil Kim also addressed Drake's comments against the raptress in defense of Minaj earlier this year.

Its official! The swanky, New York based sports bar establishment, 40/40 Club owned by RocNation CEO Jay-Z is expanding. Earlier this year, Atlantic City welcomed the newest addition to the 40/40 Club. Now the rap mogul has been making moves and apparently has inked a deal with Delaware North Companies, one of the world's leading and hospitality service providers. The $2 billion dollar a year company will go into partnership with Sean Carter and his partners, Juan and Desiree Perez to bring the upscale bar/club to up to 20 major U.S. airports.
"We are thrilled to partner with the 40/40 Club, to bring a stylish sports bar and lounge to airports across the country," said Robert Stanton, vice president of business development. "From the personalized, one-of-a-kind jerseys on the wall, to every sports game you can think of on the television screens, the club will bring a new experience that we are sure travelers will welcome."
When BET "The Game" was canceled, an uproar was sent out among fans so much so that it sparked a Twitter campaign begging the show's executives to put the hit comedy-drama back on the air. After much fan mail, tweets and other campaigning BET picked up a new season of the fan favorite, scheduled to debut January 11, 2011. Two months away from the premiere and the cast and crew are already surrounded by controversy. Rumor has it that a certain White actress is being paid more than her predominately Black cast mates. The "news" that actress Brittany Daniel ("Kelly Pitts") salary was estimated at $75,000 per episode while the show's lead Tia Mowry banked approximately $50,000 was first reported by gossip mongrel, MediaTakeOut.
BET denied the accusations releasing this statement:
"The recent report regarding certain members of the cast of “The Game” being disproportionally paid by BET is completely false. As a matter of policy, BET does not engage in public discussions about salaries or similar private matters with its artists. However, out of our deep respect and appreciation for the talent and hard work of the entire cast and crew of “The Game,” we cannot allow such inaccurate reports to go uncorrected. To be clear, there is no disparity in salaries among the cast of “The Game.” We continue to look forward to bringing new episodes to the loyal fans of this series on 1/11/11."

The smell of popcorn and candy fills the air. The theater gets dark and the screen lights up with previews. Ahh! The movies… America’s other favorite past time. As far back as I can remember, I’ve always been drawn to the movies. What preteen/teenager doesn’t recall being dropped off at the show or meeting up with friends at the mall? Sneaking into R rated movies was short of a rite of passage.
Stepping into the theater nowadays, I no longer am embarking on a movie excursion as a patron. Ever since I’ve been bitten by the acting bug during my sophomore year at Michigan State University, my movie going experience has doubled as research. As Qiana M, the aspiring actress, it is my job to keep abreast of not only the latest blockbusters but the most sought after directors, casting directors, producers and film production companies I may someday find myself working with/for. When I gaze up at the movie screen, I often envision myself there starring amongst the film credits.
Now that I've been cast in my first official film (supporting role in the upcoming indie film, "What Niya Wants"), I'm ready take Hollywood by the horns. Watch for the trailer coming soon to a 17" screen near you. Veteran rapper MC Hammer has some choice words for Marcy bred, hip hop mogul Jay-Z. Apparently, Hammer, excuse me, "King Hammer" took offense to a verse Jigga spat in his verse for "So Appalled" where he was quoted saying "And Hammer went broke so you know I'm more focused/ I lost 30 mil so I spent another 30/Cause unlike Hammer 30 million can't hurt me."
The verse that sparked the fire wasn't the lit match that caused Hammer to react. According to Hammer it was Jay's "disrespect" of his religion that caused him to take action, releasing the questionable diss video, "Better Run,Run." Highlights of the video feature a solo of a Chris Breezy back up dancer pop locking and Hammer baptizing an obese Jay-Z after clothes lining a dollar store mask wearing Satan. Confused yet? Upon first watching this video I was lost as to whether I was watching an episode of "So You Think You Can Dance" meets a performance at the Source Awards. Really! What diss video you know involves a dance sequence?
As silly as this video is, it would be halfway decent and believable if it were just Hammer and his crew responding to an insult no one had came at him with. Like Hov replied good naturedly, "I didn't know that [Hammer's financial status] wasn't on the table for discussion!I didn't know I was the first person ever to say that — I'm not, am I?" Mr.Sean Carter also went on to say: "I say some great things about him in the book I have coming out [Decoded] — that's wasn't a cheap plug. He's gonna be embarrassed, I said some really great things about him and people's perception of him."
Whether you hold Jay-Z blameless or King Hammer victorious, one thing is for certain this Jay-Z/King Hammer "beef" makes for a good laugh.
Even in death, pop culture icon Michael Jackson is still making headlines. In the latest installment of Michael vs The Media, the single "Breaking News" is stirring up controversy among Jackson's family members, fans and colleagues. The song is said to be the first single of four from the forthcoming album "Michael" to be released under Sony with the cooperation of the Michael Jackson estate. The controversial song with lyrics addressing the media crucifixion of Jackson is reminiscent of the two of the King of Pop's greatest hits "Scream" and "Leave Me Alone."
What is rubbing Jackson's loved ones and followers the wrong way is the authenticity of his voice on the track. Any fan of Michael Jackson would be able to recognize the singer's signature falsetto, ad libs and high pitched sound effects a mile away yet "Breaking News" begs to question, "Is that really Michael Jackson singing?" TMZ.com recently reported that Michael's mother and sister, Katherine Jackson and LaToya Jackson doubt that the person singing is indeed Michael. Epic Records, on the other hand, stands behind the officialness of the song stating that "Breaking News" was recorded in 2007 at the home studio of producer, Eddie Cascio by Jackson during the popstar's stay at the Cascio residence.
Reviews regarding the song are mostly negative. One critic ripped into it, saying "Having listened to Jackson's music non-stop as a teenager, the vocal comes as a shock because it doesn't really sound like him. . ." Listening to "Breaking News" I couldn't help question whether it was Michael's voice I heard amidst the clips of news reporters and the rhythmic, uptempo beat. The singer's voice sounds forced and lacks the energy characteristic of Jackson's work. Then again in the final two years of his life, the King of Pop's ailing health had taken a toll on not only his body but his voice.

Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson has been busy lately. First, he shed pounds to take on the role of a star college running back whose life is turned upside down by cancer in 'Things Fall Apart'. The G-Unit commander co-stars with Val Kilmer in 'Gun', a direct to DVD action movie revolving around arms dealers. Variety Magazine recently reported that Bruce Willis and Paul Walker are in negotiations to star along with "Fiddy" Jackson in the upcoming action flick, The Setup.
The film about a diamond heist turned deadly is written and directed by renown stunt coordinator, Mike Gunther whose film/TV credits include blockbusters like 'Live Free and Die Hard','Star Trek', and 'Spiderman 2' to name a few. With an action powerhouse like Bruce Willis on board, 50 cent will not add international appeal to his acting credibility but will zoom onto the stratosphere of A-list rappers turned actors.
