Its official! The swanky, New York based sports bar establishment, 40/40 Club owned by RocNation CEO Jay-Z is expanding. Earlier this year, Atlantic City welcomed the newest addition to the 40/40 Club. Now the rap mogul has been making moves and apparently has inked a deal with Delaware North Companies, one of the world's leading and hospitality service providers. The $2 billion dollar a year company will go into partnership with Sean Carter and his partners, Juan and Desiree Perez to bring the upscale bar/club to up to 20 major U.S. airports.
"We are thrilled to partner with the 40/40 Club, to bring a stylish sports bar and lounge to airports across the country," said Robert Stanton, vice president of business development. "From the personalized, one-of-a-kind jerseys on the wall, to every sports game you can think of on the television screens, the club will bring a new experience that we are sure travelers will welcome."

Female MCs were just as prevalent as their male counterparts.

Veteran rapper MC Hammer has some choice words for Marcy bred, hip hop mogul Jay-Z. Apparently, Hammer, excuse me, "King Hammer" took offense to a verse Jigga spat in his verse for "So Appalled" where he was quoted saying "And Hammer went broke so you know I'm more focused/ I lost 30 mil so I spent another 30/Cause unlike Hammer 30 million can't hurt me."
The verse that sparked the fire wasn't the lit match that caused Hammer to react. According to Hammer it was Jay's "disrespect" of his religion that caused him to take action, releasing the questionable diss video, "Better Run,Run." Highlights of the video feature a solo of a Chris Breezy back up dancer pop locking and Hammer baptizing an obese Jay-Z after clothes lining a dollar store mask wearing Satan. Confused yet? Upon first watching this video I was lost as to whether I was watching an episode of "So You Think You Can Dance" meets a performance at the Source Awards. Really! What diss video you know involves a dance sequence?
As silly as this video is, it would be halfway decent and believable if it were just Hammer and his crew responding to an insult no one had came at him with. Like Hov replied good naturedly, "I didn't know that [Hammer's financial status] wasn't on the table for discussion!I didn't know I was the first person ever to say that — I'm not, am I?" Mr.Sean Carter also went on to say: "I say some great things about him in the book I have coming out [Decoded] — that's wasn't a cheap plug. He's gonna be embarrassed, I said some really great things about him and people's perception of him."
Whether you hold Jay-Z blameless or King Hammer victorious, one thing is for certain this Jay-Z/King Hammer "beef" makes for a good laugh.
Even in death, pop culture icon Michael Jackson is still making headlines. In the latest installment of Michael vs The Media, the single "Breaking News" is stirring up controversy among Jackson's family members, fans and colleagues. The song is said to be the first single of four from the forthcoming album "Michael" to be released under Sony with the cooperation of the Michael Jackson estate. The controversial song with lyrics addressing the media crucifixion of Jackson is reminiscent of the two of the King of Pop's greatest hits "Scream" and "Leave Me Alone."
What is rubbing Jackson's loved ones and followers the wrong way is the authenticity of his voice on the track. Any fan of Michael Jackson would be able to recognize the singer's signature falsetto, ad libs and high pitched sound effects a mile away yet "Breaking News" begs to question, "Is that really Michael Jackson singing?" TMZ.com recently reported that Michael's mother and sister, Katherine Jackson and LaToya Jackson doubt that the person singing is indeed Michael. Epic Records, on the other hand, stands behind the officialness of the song stating that "Breaking News" was recorded in 2007 at the home studio of producer, Eddie Cascio by Jackson during the popstar's stay at the Cascio residence.
Reviews regarding the song are mostly negative. One critic ripped into it, saying "Having listened to Jackson's music non-stop as a teenager, the vocal comes as a shock because it doesn't really sound like him. . ." Listening to "Breaking News" I couldn't help question whether it was Michael's voice I heard amidst the clips of news reporters and the rhythmic, uptempo beat. The singer's voice sounds forced and lacks the energy characteristic of Jackson's work. Then again in the final two years of his life, the King of Pop's ailing health had taken a toll on not only his body but his voice.

Rihanna gets up close and personal with ex-flame Drake in the new video for her single "What's My Name?"off her forthcoming album, Loud dropping November 16th. Rihanna seems to be the "only girl in the world" for Drake as she flirts with and playfully teases him first in a corner store and later giggling over a glass of wine. Could the two be making up for lost times? If looks can be deceiving, I'd say Drake has forgiven Rihanna for that Chris Breezy rebound fling. Check out the video below
